Newbury candidate Steve Masters visited Sheepdrove Farm at the weekend to hear about the market gardening project being run by edge landscaping and the farm's ongoing efforts to be sustainable and carbon zero. He visited the reed bed filtration system, from which valuable lessons can be learned for the future of sustainable waste management. The farm has an abundance of wildflowers and pollinators and was alive with bird song.
